Sewer Main Break – Lake of the Woods

UPDATE, 8/27/26, 8:00 PM - RSA crews have repaired the force main and returned all pump stations to service. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
A sewer force main was broken by a contractor near 141 Yorktown Blvd this afternoon. The leak has been stopped and cleanup is underway. RSA crews are responding and have shut down multiple pump stations that are served by this force main. Therefore, we are encouraging the affected customers in Sections 6-12 in Lake of the Woods to limit their discharge into the sewer system until you are notified that the pump stations are back online. While the stations are down, the vacuum system cannot pull sewage from the collection tanks in the impacted zones. That means limiting flushing, sending water down the drain, showering, etc. You will be notified that normal service has returned by the same means that you received this message.
